Went to a fish and chips place tonight for dinner/take away. We got the kids chicken nuggets and chips(french fries) and Troy and I got hamburgers and fries. I was so looking forward to a big juicy hamburger...that is not what I got. We walked home with the take away containers and sat down at the table...said a word of thanks and then opened up the boxes. Josh and Caleb had enough chips and chicken to feed 5 or 6 people and Troy and I did not have hamburgers. Reason being we opened up the box and this is what we saw...see picture attatched.
It is apparently a meat patty that has been breaded and fried but not really cooked all the way through on the inside. No bun, lettuce, tomato, pickles or onion. No none of that. Only a greasy fried hamburger patty. Yum! Now I don't want to alarm everyone. You can indeed get a hamburger here. We honestly thought we were getting hamburgers. The sign said "Hamburger". Not "Breaded and Fried Meat Patty" . Anyway it was a good thing there were so many nuggets.
I hope all of you have wonderful dinners and that you get what you asked for with no surprises. (Unless it's a surprise piece of cake or something equally delightful!)
